Breathing Technique for Anxiety

Brenda from Brenda Ward Yoga takes you through a 5 minute breathing practice called Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing).

The practice helps to regulate the air flow through the nose which calms the minds, settles nerves or anxiety. It allows more oxygen into the blood flow than from normal breathing which gives the body more energy and more calm.

I use this practice a lot to find calm quickly, it can also be great if you struggle to relax before a meditation.
